Reef Way’s BMX journey is a powerful story of passion, sacrifice, and dreams becoming reality.
Born in Portsmouth, Reef first fell in love with BMX at Southsea Skatepark, where countless hours of riding laid the foundations for his future career. What started as local park sessions soon became a lifelong pursuit of progression.
That drive eventually led Reef to make a major move to Corby, allowing him to train daily at the world-class Adrenaline Alley skatepark. Since then, his rise through the ranks has been nothing short of impressive.

The Athlete
Now a Pro BMX Freestyle rider, Reef proudly represents Team GB and British Cycling and is part of the Olympic development pathway. With his sights firmly set on LA 2028, Huffy is proud to support Reef as he pushes toward the biggest stage in sport.
One of Reef’s biggest inspirations growing up was fellow Huffy rider Nick Bruce. The pair first met over a decade ago at FISE Montpellier, when Reef was just a kid watching his idol compete. Today, they’re teammates — and rivals — competing together on the world stage. For Reef, it’s a full-circle moment and a lifelong dream realized.
Known for his smooth style, technical consistency, and relentless work ethic, Reef brings fresh energy to Team Huffy BMX. Whether he’s training daily, competing internationally, or inspiring the next generation of riders, Reef embodies what Huffy BMX stands for: progression, passion, and performance.
